Last week Team Wintry hosted our 2015 Camp Wintry, a meet-up of vendors and an event Q&A with Amy and Kristin at BeeWise Goods/Boise Bakery on State Street. Owner, maker, and entrepreneur extraordinare, Gabrielle Krake, hosted us and provided the biggest and best cookies in town (which, by the way, paired really well with our wine and beer). We can’t thank her enough for offering up her space, sweet treats, and sharing her expertise as a past vendor and shop owner. Gabrielle, along with a handful of other experienced Wintry sellers, gave the newbies great tips on bringing enough cash, the intricacies of using phones and tablets for electronic payments, and filing the appropriate tax documents. We shared Julia Green Illustation’s amazing posters for this year’s event, and talked about the logistics of parking and booth set up. It was such a great night to meet up and ask and answer questions. Looking forward to seeing what our 60+ creative vendors bring to the El Korah Shrine in a few short weeks!
